It is made from a blend of cocoas from our 4 programs: Ecuador, São Tomé, Peru and the Dominican Republic.
What does “blending” mean at Kaoka? Depending on the aromatic profiles of the batches of cocoa harvested, we blend the beans to create a round and balanced chocolate. This involves know-how that we have developed over nearly thirty years of experience.
Did you know that cocoa could be responsible for deforestation? It’s true, but not at Kaoka! Our direct link with the producers means we can control the full traceability of our cocoa and put in place effective solutions with them to guarantee you deforestation-free cocoa.
Kaoka chocolates are made with 100% cocoa from our programs: Ecuador, Sao Tomé, Peru and the Dominican Republic. This choice enables us to ensure that the cocoa we use is of the highest quality, grown with respect for the environment and biodiversity, and truly remunerative for our partner producers.
